Mr Winick is a Technical Advisor to the US Department of Energy (USA). He has over 18 years of experience in energy, mineral, and water resource management. Most recently he was the lead author and project manager for DOE’s GeoVision study and was instrumental in the development of the Geothermal Technologies Office’s Strategic Multi-Year Program Plan (FY21-FY25). In addition to geothermal-focused work, he provides technical analysis and project management support in renewable energy grid valuation and critical materials. Jeff has experience in leading technical teams, interdisciplinary project management, and international experience in geothermal and mining development and operations. He holds a master’s degree from New Mexico Tech and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College.
