The Geothermal: The Next Generation (GNG) programme are pleased to introduce our newest advisory group member: Vala Hjörleifsdóttir.

Vala is the head of Innovation and Strategic planning at Reykjavík Energy. In her role, she is responsible for innovation and the long-term resource management for the company and its subsidiaries Veitur and ON Power. 

Our thanks got to outgoing advisory group member Hidda Thorsteinsson for her contributions to our programme, and for sharing her knowledge with us. We wish her well in her new role, organisation and country!
