Eylem will develop multiscale, physics-basedmodels to investigate fracture-controlled permeability evolution in superhotgeothermal systems. Her work integrates Discrete Fracture Network (DFN)modelling with coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical processes to simulate fracturereactivation, propagation, and fluid flow. She will link geological data,laboratory experiments, and reservoir-scale simulations to constructdynamically evolving fracture networks.
